Interior and spatial designers plan and organise the design of commercial and domestic interiors. Projects may take place in a range of settings, including:

  • office spaces and industrial premises;

  • residential developments;
  • domestic properties;
  • ships and aircraft;

Beginning as early as possible in the life of a project, the Turner Engineering Group engages with Turner’s preconstruction and operations teams, as well as the project’s designer of record, to identify potential design and construction risks and opportunities to add value with engineered solutions.

On a design-build project, a Turner Engineering Group Design Manager provides insight, guidance, and leadership related to both the design itself, and the execution of that design — from the creation of project scope and contract agreements, through preconstruction and beyond.

Design Manages in turn engage the expertise of Turner Engineering Group Design Specialists, who bring advanced technical knowledge of individual disciplines, as the team determines the extent of the Turner Engineering Group’s involvement.

PRECONSCTRUCTION SERVICES

Every construction is unique in scope, but process is systemically applied to each construction project.

We seek to get involved early in the design phase so that we can manage the project more efficiently, provide effective building solutions, and identify challenges early on to mitigate design changes after construction commencement.

This involves detailed pre-construction planning crucial to successful construction and on-time delivery, and allows the client and team a clear pathway to the bidding process, construction phase, and through to completion.
